* WRITING A SUMMARY
Writing a summary was easier in this term than in the first because now I have more skills and understanding how to do it.
* PERFORMANCE IN ESP VOCABULARY TESTS
Some tests have been easier and some took a lot of time to prepare. But how to prepare to them I have learnt in the thirst term: try to rewrite definitions in your own words, to understand it and to repeat it many times. To sum up, I think that I was quite successful in it.
* LISTENING PRACTICE IN CLASS
This ground is neither my best nor the worst. I think that by the time and with more practicing my skills at this will be better and better.
* MAIKING POWER POINT PRESENTATION
Making power point presentation hasn’t been very hard and I enjoyed it. Because I have chosen interesting topic, maiking presentation was interesting too, and I hope that others was interested as well as me.
* SHORT TALKS ON ESP THEMES IN CLASS
In my opinion my speaking get better but very slowly.

I feel that open-ended questions are that exercise, which should be improve on me. I need more listening practice to pass a listening exam paper if I had to take an exam today. I mean that listening of podcasts as often as possible can improve my listening skills.

Necrophobia
Necrophobia or the fear of the dead is a psychological status when you feel afraid of death or may be you are afraid of dead things. The feeling is indeed uncanny. You cannot explain that eerie feeling, which you experience when you stand before a mummy or a corpse. This phobia is indeed dangerous.
Imagine yourself standing in a museum room with dead things around. The mummy with skeletal features and several carcasses of extinct animals of the world – all are looking as if ready to catch a prey when no one is around.
Symptoms of necrophobia:
•Shortness of breath;
•Rapid heartbeat;
•Infrequent and asymmetrical heart beat;
•Sweating;
•Dry mouth and shaking;
•Feeling sick and queasy;
•Psychological instability;
•An altogether feeling of dread and trepidation.
May be it developed after you saw some one dying or an ugly dead thing before you. You may have gone through lots of emotional trauma then.
Self-help NLP skills and procedures help in creating reality. During a successful session of self-help Neuro Linguistic Program your psychological ‘construct” is changed.
Once the “constructs” are exposed and reprogrammed, the fear of the dead is either minimized or absolutely eliminated. Self-help NLP techniques help you judge a situation logically and once the rational gains victory over the irrational, half the battle is automatically won.

Professor Richard Wiseman
Professor Richard Wiseman is based at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK. His work is reported in over 40 academic journal articles, eight books, 10 book chapters and over 30 national and international conference papers. This reveals the remarkable psychological perspectives.
Professor‘s researches of paranormal, about work which examines the formation, maintenance, and impact of belief in the paranormal and magical thinking. The most interesting fact was that many of the experiences when people say that they see ghosts have a psychological explanation. This may results in mild psychosomatic and hallucinatory phenomena.
Rischardas Wisemans are only beginning to bloom. I am convinced that the experimentation will reveal to us yet more secrets of the mental.

Average happiness
Happiness is a state of mind or feeling such as contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy. It's not just a sudden emotion. It is knowing that despite some problems in your life you're still happy.
An average happiness calculation was made in 95 nations 1995-2005. How much people enjoy their life-as-a-whole was evaluate on scale 0 to 10. In the top of all 95 nations is Denmark! It was evaluated even 8.2 points. Others the happiest nations are Switzerland, Austria, Iceland and Finland. I think that these results were influenced by good political and economical situation in these countries. However, this list shows us, which nations are the unhappiest. In the bottom of the list we can find Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Zimbabwe and the rearmost is Tanzania. It was evaluated on 3.2 points. And what evaluation gets Lithuania? Only 4.6 and it is 85 of 95 nations. Sad to see these results, but this is fact. I think, that apart economical and political situations people’s happiness is affected by climate, temperament, nature and other different facts.
In conclusion, the satisfaction depends on how the basic needs of people fulfilled are. If people gave no chance to fulfill these aspects then they have straight way to the average happiness.

Psychology in MRU and abroad
Students study psychology no long in Mykolas Romeris University, only 3 years. But it isn`t argument to say that quality of study is bad. I want to compare psychology studies in Mykolas Romeris University with University of Wrocław in Poland and famous University of Cambridge. Why I selected those universities? Reason is simple and not seriuos: I found particular subjects, which are studied.
Fisrstly I want to say something about University of Cambridge. This university was estabilished at XIII century. The Faculty of Politics, Psychology, Sociology and International Studies celebrates in this year fortieth birthday. Structure of course of psychology is very interesting and different from our structure of course. Students study 3 years, not 4 like in MRU. In the first year students have introduction to the 3 different disciplines: politics, psychology and sociology, also one of the six another disciplines. In the second year students choose one of the 4 schemes: Politics, Psychology, Sociology, or Sociology and Psychology. Between subjects is experimental psychology, which includes practical work. And I want to add that psychology course is focused on social and developmental psychology. In the third year students have variuos choices, allowing students to pursue some of their particular interests. After studies you can go to professional courses in clinical and educational psychology.
Now I want to speak about University of Wrocław. It was established in XVIII century. Psychology had studied since 1969. Our university give baccalaureate after 4 years studing psychology. After studies graduate person could select postgraduate studies or work as assistant of psychologist or select job which isn`t directly related with psychology. At University of Wroclaw after 5 years studyng student get master degree and can work in different psychology branches. Also person must study psychology after that, develop nolage about psychology. Subjects are very similar. But University of Wroclaw hasn`t alternatives such as management or bases of law. Our university doesn`t require training. In University of Wroclaw practice work is compulsary.
Structure of course in University of Wroclaw is similar with Mykolas Romeris University. Differences: level of degree and practical work. I liked structure of course in Cambridge University. Person in first year can more know about similar courses and he has more freedom in choices of subject. It give more confident and independence. How about pluses our university? Course of psychology is interesting and lectors have another, better opinion of students than in another universities of Lithuania. Also students must choose alternatives subjects which can be not related with psychology, but can be useful in the future.
